Lindsay

Hi! My name is Lindsay. If you want to know a little about me, you’ve come to the right place. I am a music teacher in a medium sized school district in the Omaha Metro. I love my job because I get to participate in what I love to do every single day.

I have been dancing since I was three. I started taking formal ballet and tap classes at that time. I continued in my dance career by also taking jazz, pointe, and gymnastics classes. I was also on a competitive gymnastics team from the time I was 10 till I was 16.

I was a musical theater minor in college, and I took two musical theater dance classes along with a musical theater tap and musical theater jazz class.

I started swing dancing in February of ’09… poorly I might add. I didn’t take any formal lessons and was able to follow along with East Coast Swing, though I made many mistakes. In January of 2011 I met James, and was introduced to the hopping dance that is Lindy Hop. He taught me the basics, and we have been working together ever since!
